Just days after copping a bagging for his SuperBowl performance, (which I thought was bloody excellent, by the way), Bruce Springsteen is being accused of ripping off Kiss.
‘Outlaw Pete’, the opening song of the new Broooce album ‘Working On A Dream’ contains a piece that sounds a lot like that riff from ‘I Was Made For Loving You’ by Kiss.If you listen to the two songs, they do have a very similar sound, albeit a more upvibe version from Kiss compared to the laid-back Bruce song.
Neither Springsteen nor Kiss has commented on the allegations to date and there has been no action taken by Kiss at this stage.
Springsteen’s ‘Working On A Dream’ album is set to debut at number one in the USA this week.
