Hip-Hop legend Grandmaster Flash will release his first studio album in more than 20 years soon.
‘The Bridge’ will feature appearances from Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Big Daddy Kane, Princess Superstar and KRS-One.Flash recorded the album at his own Adrenaline Lab in New York during 07 and 08. His last album was released through Elektra Records in 1987.
Joseph Saddler aka Grandmaster Flash is best known for the 1982 hit ‘The Message’. Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five became the first hip-hop act to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Last year, he teamed with Aussie act Midnight Juggernauts and remixed their single ‘Into The Galaxy’.
Leading into the album release at the end of March, Grandmaster Flash will return to Australia for shows on the Future Music Festival.
