Smashing Pumpkins are releasing their new song `FOL` through Korean car company Hyundai.
The song made its debut today at the SuperBowl in the commercial for the Hyundai Genesis.Hyundai enlisted Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain to provide the rock soundtrack to their new advertisement. Corgan wrote ‘FOL’ specifically for the commercial.
The company produced two ads for their ‘The Epic Lap’ campaign. The other one features Yo-Yo Ma.
"The combination of Hyundai's exciting new Genesis Coupe matched with music performed by Smashing Pumpkins offers the perfect 'kick-off' to Super Bowl advertising," said Joel Ewanick, vice president, Marketing, Hyundai Motor America is a statement. "From rock to classical, our Genesis Coupe ads demonstrate the two personalities of the car, which was designed for all types of driving enthusiasts."
