After more than a year of delays the first track from the upcoming Eminem album has been released.
‘Crack The Bottle’ features Eminem with Dr Dre and 50 Cent. It is already being called “an urban supergroup”.All three will have solo albums this year. Dr Dre will release his long awaited third album ‘Detox’ at some stage. 50 Cent has ‘Before I Self Destruct’ on the way and Eminem’s next one will be called ‘Relapse’.
Eminem and Dr Dre have been working on ‘Relapse’. The impending album is the official reason why the ‘Detox’ album has been delayed.
"Me and Dre are back in the lab like the old days, man," Eminem told Billboard. "Just him banging away on tracks and me getting that little spark that makes me write to it. I don't have chemistry like that with anyone else as far as producers go ? not even close. Dre will end up producing the majority of the tracks on Relapse.' We are up to our old mischievous ways ... let's just leave it at that."
An official release date for the Eminem album is still to be announced. Expect it to be a second quarter of 2009 release.
