The Bob Dylan classic Blowin` In The Wind will be used in a commercial and Bob has given it the okay.
The legendary singer said The Co-operative can use his 1963 song for the campaign for its food shops, funeral homes and financial services. The company's ethical stance is believed to have convinced Dylan to approve the use of his famous song.
The Co-op's Patrick Allen said: "When we put the ad together we were astounded that no-one had ever used 'Blowin' In The Wind' in this context before.
"We felt the sentiments expressed in Dylan's masterpiece summed up the optimism we have for the Co-operative."
This is the second time Dylan has got involved with the advertising world after he appeared in an advert for lingerie firm Victoria's Secret in 2004.
