INXS front man J.D. Fortune will star in a series of ads for animal rights group PETA, urging fans to give up meat in their diets.
"I feel better emotionally knowing that I'm not contributing to the suffering of animals worldwide" he says in the ad.There will be a print version of the ad as well, which will show JD holding a chicken with the caption "Love 'em, don't eat 'em.".
Fortune has been a vegetarian for over ten years and says ""I've never been healthier, I've never had more stamina, I've never had more energy, I very rarely ever get sick, I can operate on four hours of sleep a night."
Fortune joined INXS after winning the first season of the TV series "Rockstar", an Idol-style show that saw INXS pick up many new fans, and lose many more old fans.
