Katja Bittner has returned to Popkomm as Katja Gross.
In her 12 months off, the Popkomm director married and had a baby.Katja is now the mother of Pien Lenny and is now back at work preparing for Popkomm 2009.
Babies must be in the air for Popkomm staff. While Katja returns, the company bids farewell to Klaus Gropper who is currently on paternity leave.
New to Popkomm is Tendaya Mwase, who will take his place as Exhibition Manager, working alongside Ester Piehl and Benita Burger.
Popkomm is one of the world’s best run and most respected music conferences and festivals. Unlike a lot of music conferences, Popkomm has a global focus and informs the industry about working the music industry worldwide.
Last year, the sponsor country for the event was Turkey.
Popkomm has also revealed new dates for 2009 and a return to September. The event this year will take place from September 16 to 18.
