The new Sepultura album `A-Lex` is will be in your hands before the month is out.
The title is a Russian word meaning “no law”. It is the band’s 11th album.Sepultura recorded ‘A-Lex’ in Sao Paulo, Brazil at Trama Studios. It will be their first album with new drummer Jean Dolabella who replaced Igor Cavalera in 2006.
‘A-Lex’ is the quickest Sepultura have made. The 18 tracks were put down in just 3 months. They say it is “basically a recording of studio jams”.
‘A-Lex’ is the second concept album from the band. The first was 206’s ‘Dante XXI’. ‘A-Lex’ is based in the 1962 book A Clockwork Orange that was made into a film by Stanley Kubrick in 1971.
The album will be released on January 23rd.
