The Mercury Prize-winning British rock band have finally got a release date and first single for their new album.
The band have been hailed by indie types for years, and their last album The Seldom Seen Kid won the UK’s album of the year Mercury Prize and went double platinum.
Three years on, they’ve announced a release date for their fifth album Build A Rocket Boys! which will be available on March 7.
The eleven-track album is apparently influenced by lead singer Guy Garvey moving back to his childhood neighbourhood.
They recorded and self-produced it in Manchester’s Blueprint Studios, much like The Seldom Seen Kid.
They’ll kick it off with the first single, ‘Neat Little Rows’, on February 27.
