The Rascals will play a free show tonight for the people of Liverpool.
The UK band will treat fans to the freebie in their hometown in the downstairs bar at Heebie Jeebies in Seal Street from 11pm.The Rascals were one of the “Bands of 2008”.
The Rascals is the main band of Miles Kane who moonlights in The Last Shadow Puppets with Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys.
This year, both bands released debut albums. The Rascals put out ‘Rascalise’ in June after a killer showcase at SXSW earlier in the year.
The Last Shadow Puppets released ‘The Age of the Understatement’ a few months earlier in February.
A second album is already in the works The Rascals. They will road test some of the new songs at tonight’s Heebie Jeebies show. A second album for The Last Shadow Puppets will also be released in 2009.
