SexTapes / Guns n` Roses member Chris Pitman has a new band and a old frontman Walter Kronkite.
The Walter Kronkite Trio features the news reports of Walter Kronkite backed with the music of Pitman and Angelo Palazzo.“This site and music are dedicated, in reverence, to the late great, Walter Cronkite, the greatest TV personality/news commentator ever,” Pitman posts at his Myspace site. “He was a man's man, and a Voice of Authority, that is respected by all who have followed him”.
Pitman grew up watching Kronkite, the most credible newsreader the US has ever produced. “When I was young, and when he was on TV, if he had said to 'sit down, and shut up' I would have done so, with no words back,” Chris says.
He searched the net for Walter’s voice. “All of the materials used for this project were found on Youtube, and you can go there and see this great man in action”, he says.
