Guns N’ Roses Talk About New Album

A member of Axl’s touring party has spoken about a new Gunners album.

It’s pretty hard to believe anything about Guns N’ Roses and release dates, considering Chinese Democracy became the totemic “forthcoming” album after 13 years in the making.

But current Gunners guitarist DJ Ashba gave hope to the band’s remaining fans during their set at Santa Monica Airport to plug a video game.

He reportedly said, “We've been throwing around a bunch of ideas and it should be good, man. We've got a lot of good stuff on the plate coming out. It won't take as long, I promise.”

And continued, “Yeah, I'm excited to get this next one rolling. A lot of great shit. Axl has a lot of good shit up his sleeve, so I'm really excited about it.”

According to the site that reported it, Hennemusic, Axl has had a longterm plan for new material to come out following Chinese Democracy.

They noted that back in 2002 Sebastian Bach said Axl had release plans for the final record in a trilogy by 2012.

We'll remain patient.
