The new Ludacris album 'Release Therapy' has debuted at number one in the USA ahead of Janet Jackson's '20 Y.O.' record.
Ludacris sales beat Janet's by around 15,000 units, earning him the top slot with around 315,000 units sold.Janet had a much better showing in the USA than Australia where her album failed to debut in the Top 50 and only sold around 1000 units in chart stores.
Other Top 10 debuts in the USA this week are Tony Bennett 'Duets: An American Classic', Alan Jackson 'Like Red On A Rose' and Weird Al Yankovic ''Straight Out of Hollywood'.
Scissor Sisters 'Ta Dah' is expected to only just scrap into the Top 20.
