Jimmy Fallon has confirmed that his house band will be The Roots when he takes over from Conan O’Brien on Late Night next year.
Fallon announced this on his first instalment of a new video blog, which promises to give fans a behind the scenes look at Late Night in 2009.You can check out his blog by clicking here.
In the first episode, The Roots give a little demo of their skills with a miniature jam at the end.
It’s good to see they’re back in fine form after their tour bus accident in Paris a couple of weeks back and it’s good to see that Fallon isn’t going to try and copy O’Brien and could give the show a fierce injection of new energy... but does this mean The Roots won't tour anymore?!
