P. Diddy has made a short film to promote his new fragrance, ‘I Am King’ and the film, he blogs, is officially his audition tape to become the first black James Bond.
In the video Diddy is seen riding a waterski in a tux, throwing big-looking chips down at a casino and riding a helicopter with two scantily clad women.In the official YouTube comments section, Diddy says “I am debuting my new movie "I Am King" for my new fragrance "I Am King" which is available exclusively at Macy's.
“This fragrance is dedicated to Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King and all you men out there who take care of your families and respect and treat yourself like the Kings that we are all.
“I would like to also announce that this is my audition tape for the next James Bond. There is a black president and it's time for there to be a black Bond. God Bless...”
The video reportedly cost close to a million US dollars and was shot in the south of France.
Daniel Craig, who has played Bond in the last two movies, ‘Casino Royale’ and ‘Quantum of Solace’ is contracted for another three films.
As a lifelong Bond fan, I must admit I was quite excited about the idea of Diddy playing Bond... until I saw this video. Judge for youself:
