Mark Ronson says he has recorded a song with Amy Winehouse for a forthcoming project for Quincy Jones.
Winehouse will be heard singing the Lesley Gore classic ‘You Don’t Own Me’ on the upcoming Jones record. The news puts an end to reports that Ronson had fallen out with Winehouse.
He told the BBC this week "She's a really good friend and I'm there for her”.
Jones this week announced that he would not be working on the upcoming Michael Jackson album because he was busy with other projects.
When asked by BET TV to clarify his comments about not working with Jackson, Jones said “I didn’t state that I didn’t want to work with Michael Jackson. I stated that I have too many projects to work with Michael, big difference. I love Michael. He’s part of my soul, but I got nine movies, three albums I’m in the middle of, my foundation and my kids. I have a lot to do. You have to focus on everything you do or you don’t do it well.”
