Amy Winehouse entered the studio with crooner Tony Bennett recently to record a song for his upcoming ‘Duets II’ release.
The song, which is yet to be revealed, will be the first piece of recorded music Winehouse has put out since recording the Leslie Gore song ‘It’s My Party’ for Quincy Jones’ 2010 album ‘Q: Soul Bossa Nostra’.
Bennett’s album will also feature appearances by Lady Gaga, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, K.D. Lang, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Faith Hill to name a few. It will be released on September 20, 2011.
It is believed that Winehouse is currently recording her third album, which will be her first since 2006’s breakout release ‘Back To Black’.
