Australia's biggest musical festival, Big Day Out, has announced the first crop of artists for 2007's event.
As expected, Tool are set to headline, with the following acts also announced: Jet, Muse, Violent Femmes, Scribe, The Killers, Eskimo Joe, My Chemical Romance, Peaches, Evermore, Spank Rock, The Sleepy Jackson, The Herd and The Spazzys.The Violent Femmes return after fifteen years, after appearing at the inaugural event in 1992. In fact, eight of the fourteen acts announced so far have played at previous Big Days Out, with Tool, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Evermore, Spank Rock and The Herd making their BDO debuts.
The tour kicks off in Auckland on Friday January 19, finishing up in Perth on Sunday February 4.
