The Who will fill out their Australian visit with a national tour.
Undercover has already announced that The Who will be in Australia in March for the Grand Prix.They will now also perform shows in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Perth on the upcoming tour.
The Adelaide and Perth shows will be the bands first back in those cities for 40 years.
The Who toured Australia for the first time in 37 years in 2004. In the 60’s, Pete Townshend had a disagreement with the Australian government in the late 60s and vowed never to return to the country. He kept that grudge for more than three decades before returning for the ’04 tour.
Special guests on this tour will be Counting Crows.
Tickets go on sale on December 3.
