The former Destiny’s Child singer - who has previously refused to reveal details about her April nuptials - admits despite the 'madness' outside, the interior was very different.She said: 'It was very private, and I can say outside it was paparazzi and it was madness, and inside it was really beautiful.'
Beyonce also said she has always vowed never to reveal intimate details of her personal life. She added to US TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey: 'I had to really learn how to have boundaries and how to have balance.
It's something that I have never really talked about, and I still feel like it was difficult - and it still is - because I'm so excited about it. But it's important that I keep things that are pure and real in perspective and I keep it separate from my performance life.'
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old singer has also revealed she is pleased she waited until she was older before getting married.
She told Seventeen magazine: 'Before the age of 25 I would never get married. I feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend some time by yourself and be proud of who you are before you can share that with somenody else.
'I really don't believe that you will love the same thing when you're 20 as you do at 30.'
