Saints front man Chris Bailey will join French chic-masters Nouvelle Vague on their third album.
“Chris Bailey came down to the show in Amsterdam and we met him afterwards,” producer Marc Collin told Undercover. “He said he would really like to have our audience, because there are a lot of young girls.“We made the proposition to him to come and sing [‘I’m Stranded’] with us and he was into it, so it was ok.”
“We also worked with Martin L. Gore from Depeche Mode on ‘Master and Servant’.”
Collin was speaking to press in Australia on the eve of their upcoming acoustic tour... meaning the acoustic shows will be more acoustic than usual. Just guitar, keyboards and “maybe a local percussionist.”
He excitedly added, “Nouvelle Vague has a special connection with Australia, because of the six people in the band, four of them are Australian! There are only two French people left!”
