Soul legend Sam Moore has been given a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Mobos, the Music of Black Origin Awards.
Moore received the award in London. He was presented with the trophy by Steve Winwood, who also appears on his latest album 'Overnight Sensational'.Moore has half of the dynamic soul duo Sam and Dave in the 60's. The performed the Sam & Dave classic 'Soul Man' at the ceremony, as well as 'I Can't Stand The Rain' from the new album.
'Soul Sensation' was produced by Randy Jackson and features special guest appearances from Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton and Sting.
