Legendary rocker Jerry Lee Lewis turned 71 last week and celebrated with a few old mates.
Lewis celebrated the birthday with a jam session in New York's Time Square with Kid Rock, Ronnie Wood, Tom Jones, Norah Jones, Chris Isaak, Don Henley, Solomon Burke and Buddy Guy all in attendance. The new activity coincides with the release of his all-star album 'Last Man Standing'. The title is a reference to the stars of Sun Records, Lewis' first record label. Other Sun stars including Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Cark Perkins and Roy Orbison, not to mention Sun Records founder Sam Phillips have all passed away. Lewis is the last man standing.
The album features duets with everyone from Neil Young and Rod Stewart, though to Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard and three Stones members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.
'Last Man Standing' will be released by Shock on October 21st.
