Neil Young has cancelled a concert in LA because of striking workers.
Neil has refused to cross a picket-line, instead canceling his Thursday night show at The Forum in LA.Young made the decision after hearing that the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees planned to picket his show.
The union is in dispute with the owner of the theatre, Faithful Central Bible Church.
Neil and Peggy Young are honorary members of the union.
The withdrawal from the show is indeed a bittersweet victory for the 62-year old rock star.
In a statement Young said, “"I am extremely disappointed to have to choose between satisfying my fans or backing my brothers and sisters of the IATSE. I will miss playing in Los Angeles and apologize to my fans for the inconvenience this has caused."
Young last performed on Wednesday in San Diego.
