To America is the new single from Joan As Police Woman’s second album, To Survive. A duet with longtime cohort Rufus Wainwright, To America is one of many highlights from an record destined for the Albums of the Year lists - To Survive has already been longlisted for the inaugural Uncut Music Award 2008.
Rufus and Joan have shared the same stage many times before - Joan was an integral member of his band - but last week in New York saw the tables turned when Rufus made an impromptu appearance with Joan As Police Woman at their Bowery Ballroom show.Number One in the Independent Album Charts on it’s release in June, 'To Survive’ is set to eclipse the brilliant success of Joan's debut (Real Life) album both critically and commercially.
