The eagerly anticipated Meredith Music Festival has announced the second crop artists to perform at this year's event.
They include local rockers Dallas Crane, Japanese soundscapist Cornelius, the indomitable combination of Tex Perkins & Tim Rogers, Bostonian hip-hop groovester Edan, Adelaide noise rockers Wolf & Cub, rock stalwarts Ian Rilen & The Love Addicts, and hip-hop diva Macromantics.They join the likes of New Pronographers, Augie March, Tapes 'N Tapes and Midlake for the weekend festival which takes places near the hamlet of Meredith in central-west Victoria.
Now in its 16th year, this Meredith Music Festival has had an exponential rise in popularity over recent years. 2004's event sold out in ten weeks, last year's in ten days. This year, demand was so great that web servers crashed, with the event virtually selling out in a matter of hours.
