It isn’t unusual for a star with a major hit to record the hit in a foreign language. Gabriella Cilmi has pushed that envelope a little further than most. She has recorded Sweet About Me in Simlish.
After topping the charts with the song in ten countries, the Sims are the latest to hear Dandenong’s biggest star. The Sims version is featured in the new Sims game Sims 2 Apartment Life.Gabriella is a big Sims fans. She told the Sims community that she first played the game 6 years ago. She says she likes Sims because you can choose different characters.
The ARIA Award winning star also has a few suggestions for other acts she thinks would sound good in Simlish. She named Muse ‘Time Is Running Out’ and Led Zeppelin ‘Whole Lotta Love’.
