After her amazing success in both Australia and the UK during 2008, Gabriella Cilmi has 2009 set aside for the USA.
‘Lessons To Be Learned’ will come out through Universal Music in America on March 17, 2009.Gabriella will also be plastered over VH1 in January as their ‘You Oughta Know’ artist of the month.
The 17-year was signed to Warner Music in Australia when she was 12. The label hooked her up with Xenomania, who have worked with Kyle, Sugababes and Franz Ferdinand.
The material on the ‘Lessons To Be Learned’ album was mostly written in a mansion once owned by Alice In Wonderland creator Lewis Carroll.
The American version of the album will feature a cover of the 80s one-hit wonder classic ‘Echo Beach’ by Martha & The Muffins.
The Australian version of the album was released in May this year.
