Bob Geldof, Annie Lennox Honored

Bob Geldof and Annie Lennox were honored at the 2008 Power of Music YouthAIDS Gala this week.

The event acknowledged the work done by the pair in raising AIDS awareness through their activities.

The evening included a performance by John Mellencamp. Sharon Osbourne was Master of Ceremonies.

The star-studded dinner also raised $1.2 million to help fight the global AIDS pandemic.
