The self confessed “best band in the world”, Die Roten Punkte, hailing from “Berlin” (hehe), kick off a run of ten fringe festival shows tonight in Melbourne, before heading to Sydney for a very special show at the Opera House.
The band have recently released their new album “Super Musikant” (which means “Super Musician”) and is full of great songs like ‘Rock Bang’, a (not so) subtle tribute to Kraftwerk ‘Ich Bin Nicht Ein Roberter (I Am A Lion)’ and Otto’s solo effort ‘Straight Edge Girl’, which is a love song to the world.You can check out Die Roten Punkte at Trades Hall in Melbourne from tonight, October 1 to October 11, with no show on the 6th and at the Speigeltent in front of the Sydney Opera House on October 26.
