Pat Monahan of Train fame has been working on new music for Tina Turner.
Tina is about to drop a new collection but the album features two new songs, massaged together by Monahan.The two new songs are ‘It Would Be A Crime’ and ‘I’m Ready’. They will feature on the upcoming album ‘Tina’.
Train has never officially split but announced in November 2006 that they were “taking a break from recording and touring”. They have however been working together in the studio from time to time.
Monaghan has been working on his debut solo album which will be called ‘Last of Seven’.
The first single from the album was ‘Her Eyes’ which came out in July.
Tina made her big comeback earlier this year at the Grammy Awards when she performed with Beyonce.
The 68-year old performer last toured in 2000 but is mounting an extensive tour which begins on October 1.
79 dates have been announced so far, with 36 scheduled for North America and 43 for Europe.
The album ‘Tina’ is in support of the tour.
Tina will be released on October 18,
