Metallica officially launch the `Death Magnetic` album at the new O2 World in Berlin on Friday night.
The show coincided with the day of release of the band’s new album, their first in five years, `Death Magnetic`.Metallica whacked five songs from the new album into the set, opening the show with the first two songs from the album.
It was an interesting set-list. For starters, their was no ‘Enter Sandman’.
The band’s first three albums still get a good workout but that middle section around the Load era is noticeably missing. They played lip-service to the Load era with just one song, `Until It Sleeps’.
