The social networking world is about to go to the next level. Isbizz.com is the newest social networking platform and the first to offer the majority of revenues back to the content providers.
The concept behind Isbizz is to provide content providers with a platform from which they can profit from their work.“Social networking sites usually take all the advertising revenue for themselves,” says director Gary Jeffs. “Why? Why not pass on advertising revenue to members and keep only a small portion for the network?”
Isbizz was founded by songwriter David ‘Franj’ Frangiosa, the man responsible for Vanessa Amorosi’s big hit ‘Perfect’. “All the other social networking sites treat members as people to be exploited,” he tells Undercover. “They say: ‘You bring your content to our site and we make the money. In return you get some exposure, maybe.’ At isBIZZ.com the approach will be entirely different. We will say: ‘We value your content if it can get the interest. Then we will pay you for it.’ For the first time, the internet will be being used for what it is really supposed to be ?- a vehicle to empower the ordinary person.”
Isbizz is designed to work equally with the advertiser and therefore help content providers generate revenue streams from their efforts.
“Members get paid for their content, instead of being asked to do it for free. Advertisers mainly pay members for their ability to create an audience, and only marginally pay isBIZZ.com. This will create an impact far in excess of conventional advertising, and will certainly attract members. Which would you choose?,” Franj says.
