MGMT won’t be playing the SoCo Music Experience tonight (September 13) after drummer Will Berman his foot.
MGMT were scheduled to play the event at Altamont Fairgrounds in Albany, NY tonight.The free show will go ahead and feature Justice, Lotus, The Whigs and Heartless Bastards on one stage and The Erotics, Ska Dee, Disasters of Hollywood, Severe Sveere and The Crayons on the second stage.
The event was moved earlier this week to Altamont Fairgrounds after logistical concerns at the original location in Saratoga Springs.
5,000-6,000 fans were originally expected to attend the event. Now closer to 20,000 is the estimate.
Altamont can cope with a crowd that size.
