Former Australian soap star Jason Donovan, who played Kylie Minogue’s husband on the hit Australian show ‘Neighbours,’ is set to release his first album in 15 years.
The 40-year-old had a string of hits in the late eighties and early nineties, including a duet with Minogue called ‘Especially For You,’ before the actor struggled with a drug addiction.Donovan has experienced a career resurgence following his appearance as a contestant on the British reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,’ which led to a tour and a gig as a radio host across the UK.
A post on his website announced his return to the studio saying, “Jason’s first new album in 15 years, ‘Let It Be Me,’ is due for release on 10th November. It has a 50s/60s theme and will feature a mixture of covers and original songs.”
