Mamma Mia is still the number one album in Australia, but it is slowing down.
This week, 8498 sales kept Mamma Mia at the top spot.As well as the `Mamma Mia` soundtrack at number one, Abba this week also hold down positions 6 with `Abba Gold`, 39 with the `Definitive Collection`, and 54 with `More Abba Gold`.
They also have the number 4 DVD with `Gold` and the number 13 DVD with `Definitive Collection`.
Van She had the only Top 10 debut with ‘V’ coming in at 10 on sales of 2455 units.
Jason Mraz had the week’s best mover with a 58% increase in sales for ‘We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things’ following the start of his Australian tour.
Other debuts were:
(17) Metro Station by Metro Station (1618 units)
(18) All Rebel Rockers by Michael Franti and Spearhead (1532 units)
Kid Rock’s ‘Rock N Roll Jesus’ jumped from 58 to 25. He can thank Lynyrd Skynyrd and Warren Zevon for that.
The Juno soundtrack jumped from 92 to 40 after the movie was released on DVD.
