Bette Midler has a new best of album to mirror her current Las Vegas run.
`Jackpot - The Best Bette` comes as Bette locks down her residency at Caesars Palace.The album spans her entire career from the first album `The Divine Miss M` in 1972 through to last year`s Christmas release `Cool Yule`.
There is also one previously unreleased song. `Something Your Heart Has Been Telling Me` was recorded in 1984. Producer Robert Kraft says of the song, `I always thought there was some magic in those sessions, because the songs seemed to acquire a haunting, almost bittersweet quality as we laid down the tracks. Roberta Flack recorded this song several years later, but I have always been a fan of Bette`s original vocal on this version.`
