J.D. Souther is about to release his first new album in 24 years (well, at least he is quicker than the Eagles).
`If The World Was You` marks the return of one of the 70s most successful songwriters.
The album was recorded live in the studio with a five-piece jazz ensemble.
It will include the 12 minute 56 second epic `The Secret Handshake of Fate`.
The album will be released on October 14 on Slow Curve through Sony Red.
