Mike Skinner demands carousel horse

Wed, 13 Aug 2008 09:57:25 +1000

Mike Skinner demanded a carousel horse during a stay at a posh hotel.

The Streets frontman reportedly made a series of bizarre requests to staff at Myhotel in Brighton, including a choice of feather or hypoallergenic pillows and music to be played on his arrival.

News of the 29-year-old rapper’s strange living requirements comes after his foul-mouthed performance at Brighton’s Vodafone TBA concert last weekend.

The star apologised to UK TV network Channel 4 on stage after launching a swearing tirade six tracks in to the live broadcast.

He shouted, 'Where the f**k are we'' during his performance of 'Blinded By The Lights’.

The 'Fit But You Know It’ singer went on to say 'f**k' twice more during ’Dry Your Eyes’ as he reminded himself to stop cursing.

He said: 'Sorry Channel 4. I’m finding it really hard not to swear!'

Mike has revealed he is only planning to release one more album with The Streets.

He told NME magazine: 'The next album will be the last one I'll make. I signed a five-album deal and I don't think it would be right to be making Streets albums after that.'
