Jewel has tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Ty Murray.
The couple have been together for 10 years. He is a rodeo champion.They wed in the Bahamas on Thursday and the news took everyone by surprise.
While they have been living together for years, the couple had never announced an engagement.
34-year old Jewel exchanged vows with her cowboy friend in front of a small crowd of family and friends.
Last week at her website she told fans “Well I`m off to the Bahamas. Ty and I have a 6 day vacation and we are going with our good friends Jason (I call him Turtle) and Amy”.
Jason was the keyboard player in Jewel`s band. He is now Green Day`s keyboard player.
Jewel`s latest single, coincidentally, is called `I Do`.
