After a long twelve years the Byron Bay Arts and Music Festival is back, bringing with it plenty of, well, arts and music.
The festival harks back to the fast-being-forgotten hippy roots of Byron Bay, and promises to be “a utopian environment of world-class music, comedy, writers’ workshops, yoga, drumming circles, interactive art installations, burlesque, and international cuisines.”While the line up won’t be announced until August 13, it will take place at Belongil Fields, just north of Byron’s town centre on January 7 and 8, 2009.
