Despite Pierce Brosnan singing, people are still buying the Mamma Mia soundtrack.

The soundtrack album has reached number 3 in the USA and has been number one in more than 30 countries.

More than 30 million people have seen the musical. The stage show has been performed in 170 cities and translated into 8 languages.

The soundtrack album features the cast of the movie, including Brosnan and Meryl Streep, on vocals. Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus mixed, mastered and produced the soundtrack, featuring original Abba songs.

The album features the musicians who originally played on the songs in the 70s. Anderson played keyboards on the soundtrack album. "We didn't have to think about it ' it was in the fingers," he said.

The soundtrack was recorded in Stockholm in February 2007.
