Madonna has maintained her place in the headlines over the past week, as photos of her exiting the New York Kaballah Center last Friday (July 25) looking gaunt and unwell have spread around the internet and gossip tabloids.
A rep for the Material Girl put the pics down to a bad angle, saying she’s busy rehearsing for her upcoming world tour to promote her latest album ‘Hard Candy.’“I just think the photographer got a bad shot of her or it was touched up to make her look bad,” explains Liz Rosenberg. “I saw Madonna two days before at her rehearsal and she looked amazing - glowing skin and working really hard on her show.”
Rosenberg adds, “She may look a little thinner than usual, but she was dancing and singing better than ever and ate a nice healthy meal. She’s working hard rehearsing eight hours a day for her tour.”
Additionally, Madonna’s rep denies recent speculation that she ghost-wrote sections of her brother’s recent book, ‘Life With My Sister Madonna’, saying, “If she had anything to do with that book, it would have been better written and more eloquent. To say Madonna needs publicity is insane. Her ticket sales are amazing. And she’s in a great space.”
