One time Euphoria member Andrew Klippel will honour his father, artist Robert Klippel, with the Klippel/Klippel: Opus 2008 exhibition coming soon to the National Gallery of Victoria.
Robert Klippel was a renowned Australian sculptor, known for his abstract assemblages.Andrew took his music via Euphoria to the top of the British and Australian charts in the 90s.
The Klippel/Klippel: Opus 2008 will combine the creative talents of the two men.
“What I derived from my father’s work is the importance of focussing on creative impulse and expanding on that,” Andrew said in a statement.
The exhibition will be on at the National Gallery of Victoria from August 7 to November 2. Admission is free.
