Cream`s Jack Bruce will perform a tribute concert for The Who`s John Entwhistle on the closing night of the Benefit Concert for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Cream lead singer and bass player will close the event in Cary, North Carolina on September 20.Bruce will join members of Entwhistle`s band and perform the music of The Who as the encore tribute to the late John. The all-star group will include Deep Purple/ Rainbow`s Joe Lynn Turner, Grand Funk Railroad`s Mark Farner and Blue Oyster Cult`s Buck Dharma.
"We are so pleased that Jack Bruce, whose concert appearances have been quite rare over the years, has agreed to play the final set of this extraordinary two-day benefit concert," said Benefit Concert Chairman and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame National Trustee, Rick French in a statement.
Other acts scheduled to appear at the two-day festival are Jefferson Starship, Styx`s Dennis DeYoung and Dave Mason.
