The Record.com has reported in an interview with New Jersey legend Southside Johnny a.k.a. Johnny Lyon that Bruce will use Southside Johnny's horn section to replace Clarence Clemons on the Wrecking Ball Tour.
Nils Logfren has previously revelead that there would be horns on the tour but was unable to articulate who would be replacing "The Big Man" Clarence Clemons, in the live shows. He suggested that the choice of replacement would be Bruce's call and that he would do what was best for himself and the band. The Boss could not have chosen more wisely. Sharing a 40 plus year history and friendship with Southside Johnny, you can hear the close allignment of influences the two musicians have shared from the late 60's in their music. Bruce leaning more to rock and Southside Johnny to blues and roots.
