Nas will have the number one album in the USA. His untitled album has sold around 180,000 units.
The album was originally going to be called `Nigger` as a statement about Michael Richards infamous melt-down when he called members of his audience `Niggers” but the title was denounced by activists such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.The album was released untitled. It is Nas` 9th studio album.
John Mellencamp is also in for a good debut with a Top 10 first week for his `Life Death Love and Freedom` album. It is his first on Hear Music.
Other new albums on the chart this week will come from David Banner, Taylor Swift, Randy Travis and the Dark Knight soundtrack.
