Country music still sells. Pop doesn`t. And JSi has a life-style to maintain. “I`m not what everybody thinks that I am. Believe it or not, I`m a simple country girl. I might buy expensive shoes,” she blabs in a statement, “But, I`m definitely a simple country girl and this album will hopefully give people a sense of who Jessica is again.”In September, she will release the `Do You Know` album that is blatantly aimed at grabbing revenue from market that still spends money on CDs.
It`s pretty much impossible to take JSi seriously as a country artist, but will the country fans.
JSi has received some heavy endorsement, the biggest coming from Dolly Parton who wrote the title track for Simpson.
The `Do You Know` album will be released in September.
