Dust off your tent and pack that sleeping back, the year is barely half over, but already it's time to start thinking about your New Years festivities.
Once again The Falls will be held at two sites simultaneously, in Lorne, Victoria and Marion Bay, Tasmania, but this time there is a difference to how you can buy your tickets.50% of the allocation will go on sale to people who subscribe to the Falls newsletter between now and July 24th, 2006. You can sign up by going here: http://www.fallsfestival.com/subscribe. You will also have to nominate your preferred festival (Vic or Tas).
Tickets will be on sale on August 16th, with the first lineup announcement the week before.
Previous festivals have boasted some big names, including Blondie, Iggy Pop, The Violent Femmes, Bentley Rhythym Ace, The Dandy Warhols and The Black Eyed Peas.
