Who says Jimmy Barnes is a worn out rock star' His record label, that’s who! Liberation this week released the Jimmy Barnes Alive Drive. It can be worn out to the movies, worn out to gigs or just worn out when you go shopping.
Barnes’ Alive Drive is the latest technology available from New Found Frequency. The Alive Drive is a USB wristband that included his latest album ‘Out of the Blue’ and a bonus live album.The Alive Drive connects to exclusive Barnes content via the Internet and can be updated to alert fans to Barnes news and upcoming gigs.
The Alive Drive technology also keeps the music fresh. Over the next 12 months, extra Barnes tracks will be made available to owners of the Jimmy Barnes Alive Drive.
“When Liberation contacted me about utilising the new format, I thought the idea was perfect,” Jimmy said in a statement. “It allows me to include the new album plus unique and archive audio and video content and then the live concert to round it all off. I’m glad we have done it”.
The Alive Drive is a 1gig USB. The Barnes content takes up about 300 Meg so you still have around 700 Meg to share files on.
The Barnes Alive Drive is available from his gigs and in selected stores.
